Ashihara Karate Sabaki Open Tournament
The event had over 220 participants, consisting of 167 males and 53 females.
March 07 – 09, 2025: Ashihara Karate Sabaki Open Tournament will take place at Rashailu Gym in Addis Ababa.
It was a special tournament that included K- One kickboxing, weapon, and traditional kung fu arts, including semi-contact and full contact karate.
Sabaki Ashihara, President Master Kiros Berhe, and Executive Director Shihan Tesfu Goshu, who managed the tournament exceptionally well, referred to the event as a successful tournament.
The chairman of the Sabaki Ashihara Karate jury, Sensei Yared Shimels, and the Shotokan representative, Master Zerihun Ashenafi, performed exceptionally well.1
Alexander Gidey received the star for his role as a judge at the tournament.
Participants present at the tournament included Addis Ababa Karate Federation Secretary Mr Mathias Asres, Oromia Karate Federation Secretary M.r Waqtole Yadeta, Tigray Karate Federation Secretary Johannes Yibrah, Karate Master Dr.Elias Abishak, Sinner Karate Master Shelemon Kebede, Sinner Karate Master Belay Zemichael, Master Negash Girma, and Master Masreta Johannes.
